Program volunteers
Program volunteers assist by grooming, tacking horses, supporting clients during lessons, leading horses, and putting away tack afterwards. We encourage a weekly commitment of at least 3 months. Volunteer opportunities are available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Saturdays from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. An average shift is 3 hours long.
The Equine Wellness Team Volunteers
The Equine wellness team volunteers assist with the health care, grooming, tacking and training of the horses under the supervision of the Program Director. No horse experience is necessary; we will mentor you and develop your horsemanship skills in a safe and supportive environment. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Facility volunteers and work groups
Facility volunteers and work groups assist with maintenance of our 18-acre property including mowing, weed eating, raking, filling water troughs, painting and cleaning tack. Facility volunteer opportunities happen throughout the mornings or as a group on a designated day.
