Horses of Hope PR – Three Amazing Weeks of Summer Horsemanship Camp 2026

Horses of Hope PR’s three-week Summer Horsemanship Camp was a major success, serving 26 children in a safe, inclusive environment focused on therapeutic riding and equine-assisted learning.

Campers took part in riding lessons, horsemanship instruction, horse care and grooming, equine-assisted activities, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and team-building. These experiences supported physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth while building confidence, responsibility, empathy, communication, emotional regulation, problem-solving, resilience, patience, teamwork, and independence.

Individualized instruction allowed each child to progress at their own pace and celebrate personal achievements. Families reported gains in confidence, communication, social skills, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.

The program’s success relied on dedicated certified instructors, volunteers, therapy horses, and supporters. It continues to fulfill Horses of Hope PR’s mission of empowering individuals and enriching lives through the healing power of horses.
