Sandy Webster

Executive Director / Program Director

Passionate leader in therapeutic riding and equine-assisted programs, mentoring instructors and building impactful community services.

Sandy Webster is the Executive Director and Program Director for Horses of Hope. With more than 40 years in the equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) field, Sandy specializes in developing therapeutic riding programs, supporting local participants, and training volunteers and instructors.

​

A PATH Intl. Master Instructor and PATH Intl. evaluator (Registered, Advanced, Master), Sandy is also a CanTRA Coach and Canadian Equestrian Federation Level 2 Eventing and Dressage Coach. She teaches Therapeutic Riding, Horsemanship, Equine-Assisted Mental Health and Learning (EAMHL), Interactive Vaulting, and Carriage Driving. Sandy spent over two decades leading CARD in Toronto and has consulted and mentored programs across North America and beyond.

Following two cancer survivals, Sandy devoted the past 17 years to building and staffing therapeutic riding centers, mentoring instructors, and advancing industry best practices. Recent projects include program development and instructor mentorship at Chastain Horse Park and current program growth and instructor development work in Isabela, Puerto Rico.​
